Student Emergency Funding Assistance

When a student is faced with the financial effects of an emergency and has exhausted all other means of assistance, Texas State may be able to assist with Emergency Funding Assistance.  The Dean of Students manages a website with information for students regarding student emergencies.

Food Resources

Bobcat Bounty, the university's food pantry, and other emergency pantries are available to students for any student who cannot afford to eat at the open dining services locations on-campus.

Bobcat Bounty will offer pre-packaged bags of groceries to students. Check their and for updates on their food distribution days. The and can also provide additional assistance.

Student Health Services

All Student Health Center locations and the Pharmacy will be open for the remainder of the spring semester. Services are by appointment only, please call 512.245.2161 to make an appointment. For more information visit the .

The Counseling Center is offering numerous resources for students including virtual appointments, webinars, coping techniques for stress and anxiety, and more.  Appointments and inquiries should be made by calling 512.245.2208.  More information on programs and support resources can be found on the website. 

If you feel you are in immediate danger or crisis, call 911 or seek medical assistance.  If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, interpersonal/domestic violence, or a recent sexual assault you can call the Counseling Center during normal business hours at 512-245-2208.
