ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï CheMIE

The ChemIE REU Program at ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï offers undergraduate students a unique, hands-on research experience in chemistry and biochemistry. This 10-week summer program allows participants to work closely with faculty mentors on cutting-edge projects while developing valuable laboratory and analytical skills.

How to Apply

The CheMIE REU is open to all Chemistry or Biochemistry majors who will have completed at least one year of general chemistry prior to beginning the REU program.

Through CheMIE

Students will participate in Career Development seminars with ºÚÁϳԹÏ’s Career Services team, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry faculty, and local career chemists from various career paths. This unique combination of research and innovation training will provide students with a broad basis of understanding in both academic and industrial research that is lacking in most academic research environments.
